Riddle is a design system built at Ignite for a procurement platform, covering search, categorization, and workflow components used across the product - from item lookup to supplier and contract tagging.
The challenge was building a system flexible enough to handle dense, data-heavy enterprise workflows (categories, suppliers, contracts, cost-owners) while keeping the interface fast to scan and easy to navigate via keyboard, not just mouse.

Procurement teams work across large, structured datasets - items, categories, suppliers, contracts — often needing to move between records quickly.
The system had to support:
clear visual tagging so item type is identifiable at a glance
fast keyboard-first navigation (open, navigate, search) for power users
consistency across dozens of similar list/search patterns throughout the product

Built around a componentized, tag-first pattern language - reusable category badges, consistent list-item structure, and a global search pattern with clear keyboard affordances (Enter to open, arrows to navigate) surfaced directly in the UI.
The goal was to reduce cognitive load for repeat users who rely on the same patterns dozens of times a day, while keeping the system legible enough for new users to pick up fast.

I've kept the full walkthrough for calls, since a lot of the thinking lives in the interaction details rather than static screens. Get in touch and I'll show you around.
